He is survived by: his children, Christine Dobbelsteyn (Travis Musika), Ryan of Vancouver, BC, Kyle of Vancouver, BC, Cynthia Dobbelsteyn (Shone Gracie), Olivia of Fredericton, NB, Orianna of Fredericton, NB and Taylor of Fredericton, NB; and his siblings, Joe Dobbelsteyn (Mary) of Fredericton, NB, Anne Marie Barton (late Howard) of Vancouver Island, BC and Pauline Mott (Bob) of Fredericton Junction, NB..

In lieu of flowers, memorial donations may be made to Hospice House, Oromocto Extra Mural Program (earmarked for Patient Comfort), or the Heart and Stroke Foundation.
