He was predeceased by: his parents, Frank Barton and Ella Barton (Seaman); his sister Anne Heine (Gordon); and his daughter Susan (Gertrude). He is survived by: his wife Mary Carr; his daughters, Nancy Barton and Jill Barton; his son-in-law David Scott (Janet); his grandchildren, Kris (Chantal), Jessica (Chris), Ashlee (Pat), Sara (Elena), Megan (Matthew) and Ben; and his great grandchildren, Lucy, Poppy, Ella and Lydia. He is also survived by his nieces, nephews.
