Garth Harper Obituary

With heavy hearts, we announce the death of Garth Harper of Fredericton, New Brunswick, born in Winnipeg, Manitoba, who passed away on September 18, 2021 at the age of 77. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.

He was predeceased by: his parents, Bert Harper and Thelma Harper; his sister Maureen; and his brother-in-law Danny LaKing. He is survived by: his wife Merna Harper (LaKing); his stepson Kevin Donahue of Moncton, NB; his daughter Kayla; his brothers-in-law, Duncan McRae of Alberta, Doug LaKing of Fredericton, NB and Carl LaKing (Doreen) of Alberta; his nieces and nephews, Stephen of New Brunswick, Carla of Alberta, Nicole of Alberta, Marnie of Alberta, Michelle Swan of Harvey Station, NB and Duncan Charles Harper (Michelle) of Northwest Territory; and his friends, John Olafson of Vernon, BC and Rodger Hurtubise of Winnipeg.

In lieu of flowers, remembrances may be made to Hospice Fredericton (Palliative Care Research Network Inc.).
