He is survived by: his children, Don (France Côté) of Gaspé, QC, Ellen of Owen Sound, Patty (Vanessa Russell) of Toronto, ON, Denise of Nanaimo, BC, Bob (Carole Asselin) of Beresford, NB, Ken of Toronto, ON, Paul (Corrie Zapalac) of Stratford, ON and Theresa (David Gent) of Milton, ON.; his grandchildren, Alexandre, Olivier, Tom, Michael, Michelle, Sebastien, Gabriel, Andrew, Scott, Noah, Kenidi and Kieren; and his great grandchildren, Savanah, Aiden and LeeAnna. He is also survived by many nieces and nephews.

Donations in memory of George may be made to the Alzheimer's Society or a charity of the donor's choice.
