He was predeceased by: his parents, Cecil Bell and Harriott Bell; his siblings, Ted, Frank, Russell, Don Bell, Gertrude and Aida Bell; his wife Gertrude Bell (Brown); and his daughter Leisa Adams (Bell).

He is survived by: his children, Arthur (Arlene), Mike (Karen), Darren Bell (Ally), Marilyn Aubé (Allen) and Angie Bell; and his close friend Crystal. He is also survived by many nieces and nephews.

Memorial donations in memory of George may be made to the New Brunswick Lung Association or a charity of the donor's choice.
