It is with deep sorrow that we announce the death of George Kilburn (Fredericton, New Brunswick), who passed away on September 20, 2025, at the age of 81, leaving to mourn family and friends. You can send your sympathy in the guestbook provided and share it with the family.
He was predeceased by: his parents, Robin Kilburn and Nina Kilburn; and his siblings, Sandra, Nancy and Glen.
He is survived by: his wife Patricia Kilburn (McQueen); his sons, Colin (Kalie Hatt-Kilburn) and Eddie (Heather Kilburn); his grandchildren, Paxton, Ben, Elizabeth and Grace; and his brothers, Clark (Bonnie) and Chris (Geri).
Visitation was held on Friday, September 26th 2025 from 4:00 PM to 6:00 PM at the McAdam's Funeral Home (160 York St, Fredericton, NB E3B3N7). A memorial service was held on Saturday, September 27th 2025 at 11:00 AM at the J. A. McAdam Memorial Chapel (160 York St, Fredericton, NB E3B3N7).
In lieu of flowers, the family invites you to make a donation to the Heart and Stroke Foundation or to the Loyalists Legends Legacy Fund so that future generations can have the opportunity to play one of the sports he loved so much.
