It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Gladys Eva Garnier of Fredericton, New Brunswick, who passed away on January 13, 2026, at the age of 79, leaving to mourn family and friends. She was predeceased by: her husband Ernest "Ernie" John Garnier; her parents, Zenas Steeves and Dollie Steeves (Hicks); and her siblings, Joyce Steeves, Reilly Steeves, Reid Steeves, Allen Steeves and Raymond Steeves.

She is survived by: her sons, Eric Garnier (Wendy) of Carter's Point, NB and Jason Garnier of Fredericton, NB; her grandsons, Ethan, Angus and Mason; and her sisters, Nita Steeves of Steeves Mountain, NB and Stella Quartermain (Art) of Fredericton, NB. She is also survived by several nieces and nephews.
