He is survived by: his parent Ervine Rutledge; his wife Harriet (Gaines); his sons, Andrew (Heather) and Matthew (Nathalie); his grandson Lucas; and his siblings, Florine and Leonard Gaines (Gerene). He is also survived by several nieces and nephews.
