She was predeceased by: her parents, Sherman Corey and Freida (Banks); her husband Jason Burden; her son David Burden; and her siblings, Wesley Corey, Arnold Corey (Lillie) and Maida Picard (Philip).

She is survived by: her daughter Joan Hawkins (Charlie); her granddaughters, Heather Hawkins of Fredericton and Heidi Ciarlo (Tony) of Abu Dhabi, UAE.; her siblings, Herby Corey (Josephine), Neil Corey and Fay Bishop (Eddie); and her pets, Baby and Mindy. She is also survived by many nieces and nephews.
