With profound sadness, we say goodbye to Grace Elizabeth (Horne) Slaunwhite (Fredericton, New Brunswick), born in Little Dover, Nova Scotia, whose vibrant spirit touched the lives of many. Grace left this world on October 6, 2025 at the age of 94, leaving a void in the lives of so many people. She was predeceased by: her parents, Alfred Horne and Amelia Horne; her husband Reginald W. Slaunwhite (Dick); her siblings, Rita, Bernice, Elsie, Clara, Joan, Paul and Clyde; and her son-in-law Doug MacKay.
She is survived by: her children, Judy MacKay (David Hoyt), David (Suzanne), Robert (Karen) and Ron (Denise); her grandchildren, Amber, Christian, Colin, Jamie, Jill, Jordan and Josh; and her children, Stuart Doucette and Patricia Grant. She is also survived by 14 great-grand children, many nieces and nephews.
In lieu of flowers, a donation to the Albert House Hospice in Moncton would be much appreciated.
