He was loved and cherished by many people including: his wife Virginia Green (Murray); his parents, Leo Green and Marie Green (Collier); his sons, Christopher Green (Krysti) and Alexander Green (Grace); his grandchildren, Jack Alexander Green, Keira Grace Green, Pearce Jackson Green and Myles Robert Green; and his siblings, Bruce Green, Brenda Duffy (Jim), Janet Renouf (Jerome), Sandra Green, Kevin Green (Marion), Scott Green (Melissa), Charles Green (Joy Martin) and Denise Jesso (Jason). He was also cherished by many nieces and nephews.

In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to the Canadian Cancer Society.
