She was predeceased by: her parents, Hartley Rude and Georgia Yerxa (Palmer) of Springhill, NB.; her former husband Arnold Harding; her husband Merlin Stairs; her children, Debbie LaPalme and Peter Harding; and her siblings, Kay, Gladys, Marion, Ralph, Glen, Donald and Gilbert.
She is survived by: her children, Diann Flewelling (Wayne) of Ripples, NB and John Harding (Lisa) of Lakeville Corner, NB; her sister Carol Cantle of Moncton; her daughter-in-law Gale Landry of Fredericton, NB; her siblings-in-law, Mocilia Yerxa of Mississauga, ON, Stella Corry of Fredericton, NB, Jean McVicar of St. George, NB, Neil Stairs of Fredericton, NB and Carol Drost (Ivan) of Fredericton, NB; her grandchildren, Chris, Sheila, Angela, Jared, Jennifer, David, Thomas, Austin and Brooke; her great grandchildren, Drake, James, Ashley, Emma, Quinn, Addy, Harper, Stella, Layla, Sophie, Cam, Jade and Blair; and her stepgreat-grandchildren, Quinn and Mack.
A funeral service was held on Saturday, April 5th 2025 at 2:00 PM at the Oromocto Funeral Home Chapel (108 Winnebago St, Oromocto, NB E2V1C7).
