With solemn hearts, we announce the passing of Helen Grace Ellis in Fredericton, New Brunswick, whose presence will be deeply missed, having departed on January 1, 2026. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
She was predeceased by: her husband Charles Ellis; her parents, Aubrey Chapman and Lillian Chapman (Powell); and her siblings, Dorothy, Donald, George and Walter.
She is survived by: her children, Mark Ellis (Denise Schurman) of Fredericton, NB, Wenda Ellis MacDonald (Sally Middlebrooks) of Lunenburg, NS and Beth Green (Glen) of Smiths Falls, ON.; her grandchildren, Kerry, Andrew and Kaitlin; and her great grandchildren, Eleanor, Jane, Harper, Ethan, Huxley and Ruxton.
Visitation was held on Friday, January 9th 2026 from 11:00 AM to 1:00 PM at the Elhatton's Funeral Home (187 St George St, Bathurst, NB E2A1B6). A funeral service was held on Friday, January 9th 2026 at 2:00 PM at the First United Church (309 St Patrick St, Bathurst, NB E2A1E2).
