With solemn hearts, we announce the passing of Hendrik Gerrit Rompelman of Fredericton, New Brunswick, whose presence will be deeply missed, having departed on June 18, 2025 at the age of 94. He was predeceased by: his parents, Gerrit J. Rompelman and Alida S. Rompelman (Walison); his wife Paulina; his sister Alida Winkelman; and his brother-in-law Willem Winkelman.
He is survived by: his daughter Lilian Astrid (Parker Ketch); his grandchildren, Jessica and Matthew Ketch; his great grandchildren, Jaxon LaPointe, Raynor and Harleen Ketch; his niece Esther Snoep; his nephew Edwin Snoep (Pauline Kuiken); his great-nephew Victor; his brother-in-law Cees Snoep; his pet Chester; and also, Robin LaPointe and Belia Snoep.
Visitation will be held on Monday, June 23rd 2025 from 3:00 PM to 5:00 PM at the York Funeral Home (302 Brookside Dr, Fredericton, NB E3A5K2). A prayer will be held on Monday, June 23rd 2025 at 4:00 PM at the same location.
