He was predeceased by: his parents, Alfred Boone and Eunice Boone (Wood); and his sister Madeline Parent. He is survived by: his wife Heather E. M. Boone (Carr); his siblings, Duane Boone, Harlan Boone and Lois Sode; and his niece Pamela Sue Hamilton (Carr). He is also survived by special friends and family as well as many nieces and nephews.

Donations can be made to SPCA or to Hospice Fredericton.
