It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Ivan Franklin Clowater (Fredericton, New Brunswick), who passed away on July 19, 2018, at the age of 89, leaving to mourn family and friends. He was predeceased by: his spouse Elva Clowater (Price); his parent Frank Clowater; his grandson Adam; his siblings, Edith, Alice, Vesta, Irene, Genevra, Vimy, Alvin, Ralph and Adrian; and his son-in-law Jim McAleer.

He is survived by: his parent Florence Clowater (Sinclair); his children, Penny McAleer (John) of New Bandon, NB, Jane Calhoun (Jerry) of Quispamsis, NB, Duane Clowater (Lorna) of Fredericton, NB and Rickey Clowater (Marie) of St. Stephen, NB; his grandchildren, Rick, Andrew, Barry, Jamie, Jennifer, Jarrett, Joel and Jacob; his great grandchildren, Brady, Karlee, Alexa, Austin, River, Forrest and Lottie; and his brother Gene Clowater. He is also survived by several nieces and nephews.

In lieu of flowers, remembrances may be made to the Canadian Cancer Society or the charity of the donor's choice.
