He was predeceased by: his mother Marie (Carlisle); his sister Marina; his brother-in-law Vernon Goodine; his sister Dawn Dunphy (Mildred (Myers)); his niece Anne; and his grandmother Helen (Jewett).

He is survived by: his daughters, Jane Rioux (David) and Nancy Esau (Darryl); his grandchildren, Elizabeth, Peter, Matthew Rioux and Lincoln Esau; and his great grandchild Ella Rioux. He is also survived by his children and grandchildren.
