She was predeceased by: her parent Merlin Abernethy; her sister-in-law Audrey Abernethy; and her brother Vaughn Abernethy. She is survived by: her parent Helen Abernethy (Grant); her son Paul Stewart (Linda) of Fredericton, NB; her grandchildren, Marcie Wall (Patrick) of Fredericton, NB and Jeremy Stewart (Abby) of Halifax, NS; her great grandchildren, Noah Wall, Charlie Wall, Chase Stewart and Eva Stewart; her siblings, Carroll "Ted" Abernethy of Boiestown, NB and Glenna Nevers (Robert) of Lakeland, FL; and her sister-in-law Gertrude Abernethy of Bathurst, NB. She is also survived by several nieces and nephews.
