He was predeceased by: his parents, Burton McAfferty and Jane McAfferty (Walsh); and his siblings, Grace and John Stewart. He is survived by: his children, Amanda Augustine (Anthony), Michael McAfferty and Chris McAfferty (Abigail); and his grandson Dakota. He is also survived by many nieces, nephews.
Visitation was held on Thursday, September 3rd 2026 from 4:00 PM to 7:00 PM at the York Funeral Home (302 Brookside Dr, Fredericton, NB E3A5K2).
