She was predeceased by : her parents, Donald Short and Mary Short (Adams); and her siblings, Mary Acheson and Murray Short (Anice). She is survived by : her husband Hayward Jewett of Fredericton, NB; her daughter Lynne Jewett; and her siblings, Ted Short (Irene), Violet Daye Frances (Stan) and Ethel Nason (late Ron). She is also survived by several nieces and nephews.
A memorial service was held on Sunday, April 28th 2024 at 1:00 PM at the York Funeral Home's T. Gordon MacLeod Memorial Chapel (302 Brookside Dr, Fredericton, NB E3A5K2).
