He was predeceased by: his parents, Pauline Chessie and Jeremiah Chessie. He is survived by: his daughter Genevieve Tia Chessie; and his sisters, Dawn Eileen Hughson (Milton), Jaqueline Jewett (Elbridge), Lilian Judith Chessie, Mary Agnes Chessie (Stephen McGarvie) and Catherine Piercy (Robert). He is also survived by many nieces and nephews.
Visitation was held on Tuesday, August 26th 2025 from 2:00 PM to 5:00 PM. A celebration of life was held on Tuesday, August 26th 2025 at the St. James Gate (200 Summerhill Row, Fredericton, NB E3G0C4).
