Jim Longworth Obituary
With heavy hearts, we announce the death of Jim Longworth of Fredericton, New Brunswick, who passed away on October 15, 2025 at the age of 80. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
He was predeceased by: his parents, Elsie Jean (Lewis) and Donald Murray Longworth; his grandson Caleb; his nephew Andrew; and his brother David.
He is survived by: his wife Barbara Janice Longworth (Wright); his children, Carol Jean and Don (Erin); his grandchildren, Mahayla, Mercy and Katelyn; his siblings, Peggy, John (Peggy Lynn) and Nancy Rose (Rodolfo); his siblings' children, Arthur, Lilly, Bobby, Benjy (Stephanie), Anna (Giovanni) and Lisa; and his great-nieces, Amanda, Nova and Anna.
Visitation will be held on Sunday, October 19th 2025 from 3:00 PM to 5:00 PM at the York Funeral Home (302 Brookside Dr, Fredericton, NB E3A5K2). A funeral service will be held on Monday, October 20th 2025 at 11:00 AM at the Lincoln Baptist Church (2275 NB-102, Lincoln Parish, NB E3B8N9).
