She was predeceased by: her husbands, Vernon Norman Kierstead and Everett Chalmers Hospital; her parents, George West and Cora West (Carpenter); and her sister Ann.
She is survived by: her sons, Gary (Nancy) of Coles Island, Roger (Debbie) of Fredericton and Stephen (Mary-Jo) of Fredericton; her grandchildren, Laura Simpson, Heather Paterson (Robert), Anna McGuire (Caleb), Sarah, Rachel Best (Aiden), Abigail Moeller (Nick), Rebekah, Esther, Danielle, Jacob, Molly Boulter and Eli Boulter; her brothers, Richard West (Judy) of Charlottetown, PE and Brian West (Cynthia) of Cherryvale, NB; her sister-in-law Florence Chown; and her friend Marjorie McFarland. She is also survived by nine great-grandchildren.
A funeral service will be held on Friday, October 16th 2026 at 12:00 PM at the Brunswick Street Baptist Church (161 York St, Fredericton, NB E3B3N8).
