He was predeceased by: his parents, Christine Hansen and Christopher Hansen; and his wife Dorothy Hansen. He is survived by: his daughter Tasha Paul-Cloutier; his son-in-law Jeff Cloutier; his grandsons, Cameron and Morgan; and his siblings, Elizabeth Bourque and Dan Hansen (Debbie). He is also survived by many close friends and family members.

Visitation will be held on Wednesday, October 28th 2026 from 10:00 AM to 2:00 PM at the Maqiyahtimok Centre (247 Maliseet Drive, St. Mary's First Nation E3A2W1). A funeral service will be held on Wednesday, October 28th 2026 at 2:00 PM at the same location. A burial will be held on Friday, October 30th 2026 at 12:00 PM at the St. Anthony's Cemetery (726 McEvoy St, Fredericton, NB E3A3B8).
