He was predeceased by: his parents, Leslie Duplacey and Dorothy Duplacey (Currie); his former wife Muriel (Bell); his daughter Kathleen M Mercer (Kathey); and his siblings, James Duplacey and Jeanne Melanson (late Paul).
He is survived by: his children, Derron, Patricia and Tina Duplacey; and his stepchildren, Jamie Guitar (Krista Murphy) and Shane Guitar (Juanita Bourque).
