He was predeceased by: his sister Margaret Isabel Smillie. He is survived by: his wife Elinor; his sons, David Palmer (Doris Demers) of Fredericton, NB and Ian Palmer (Vicky Catchpole) of Cumberland, BC; his grandchildren, Nieva Palmer, Sebastian Palmer, Olin Palmer, Coel Palmer, Kelsey Simpson and Cheyna Lemon; and his great grandchildren, Marley, Brycen, Ainsley and Talon. He is also survived by nieces and nephews.
