He was predeceased by: his parents, John "Jack" Veness and Jere Veness. He is survived by: his children, Jessie Veness and Michael Veness; and his granddaughter Alexis Curtis. He is also survived by several cousins and dear friends.
A celebration of life will be held on Saturday, October 24th 2026 from 3:00 PM to 4:00 PM at the York Funeral Home (302 Brookside Dr, Fredericton, NB E3A5K2). A burial will be held on Saturday, October 24th 2026 at 4:30 PM at the Fredericton Rural Cemetery (359 Woodstock Rd, Fredericton, NB E3B2H9).
