She is survived by: her parent Banji "Dhobie" Bania; her children, Sudesh "Peter" Valji (Gail) of Upper Kingsclear, Sheila Valji (Fredericton), Veera Valji (Australia) and Anita Valji (Australia); and her siblings, Lilie Walji (Fredericton), Dinah Fakirchand (Uganda), Santha Notay (Uganda), Nancy (England) and Govind Bania. She is also survived by 10 grandchildren and 12 great grandchildren.
