Katherine Linda Baird Obituary

With solemn hearts, we announce the passing of Katherine Linda Baird (Fredericton, New Brunswick), whose presence will be deeply missed, having departed on December 20, 2025. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.

She was predeceased by: her parents, Don McMinniman and Dorothy Kathleen McMinniman (Tapley); her siblings, Carl, Brian, George, David, Peter McMinniman, Myrna Henry (Alton), Joan Doyle (Steve) and Mary Hogan; her siblings-in-law, Donna McMinniman and Peter Baird; and her son-in-law Alain Baird.

She is survived by: her husband Dennis; her children, Michael Baird and Krista Cook (Jeremy); her granddaughters, Avery and Lauren Cook; her siblings, Wayne McMinniman and Jill Kierstead (Carl); and her sisters-in-law, Jessie McMinniman, Susan McMinniman and Faye (Dale Banks). She is also survived by many nieces and nephews.

In lieu of flowers, donations can be made to Hospice Fredericton (Palliative Care Resource Network Inc.) or the Salvation Army Community Church.
