She was predeceased by: her parents, Kenneth Johnson and Mary Johnson (White); her sister Gail Kierstead; and her brother-in-law Donald Kierstead. She is survived by: her husband Randy; her son Tyler (Marinda Ward); her sisters, Sandra Johnson, Barbara Johnson, Evelyn Johnson and Eleanor Knowles (Dennis); her siblings' children, Paul Kierstead and Angela Mooney; and also Physicians.

A Celebration of Life will take place at Journey Church, Duncan Lane, Fredericton when Covid regulations will allow, and will be announced at the time.

In lieu of flowers, remembrances in Kathy's memory may be made to Caton's Island, Hospice House Fredericton or a charity of the donor's choice.
