He was predeceased by: his parents, Samuel Hayward and Mary Hayward; his wife Grace Ruth Hayward (Lenentine); his son Duane Hayward; and his sister Ruth McLaughlin.
He is survived by: his children, Terrance Hayward (Deanna Kitchur) and Dawn Hayward (David Allen); his grandchildren, Skuylar Hayward, Tanner Hayward (Kendall Henry), Christopher Hayward (Katlyn Hayward) and Alexander Allen (Katelynn Young); and his great grandchildren, Austin Hayward, Claire Hayward, Lucas Allen and Adalynn Hayward. He is also survived by several nieces and nephews.
