He was predeceased by: his parents, Kenneth McLenaghan and Eva McLenaghan (Kingston); his daughter Kimberly Mckiel; his grandson Leeland Mckiel; and his siblings, Patricia Praestagaard, Willard and Doug.

He is survived by: his wife Dale (Hebert); his sons, Christopher (Mandy), Peter (Natalie) and Scott; his grandchildren, Connor, Kiah, Tye, Alex, Kaden, Liam, Logan, Calli and Landen; his siblings, Kenneth Jr. (Debbie Gauvin) and Debbie Bourque (Tim); his son-in-law Larry Mckiel; and his brother-in-law Villy Praestagaard. He is also survived by many many nieces and nephews.
