Family and friends must say goodbye to their beloved Loretta Birch (Fredericton, New Brunswick), born in Bartholomew, New Brunswick, who passed away at the age of 97, on July 23, 2018. She was predeceased by: her parent James Hogan; her husbands, George "Duke" Deap and John "Jack" Birch; her daughter Donna Mae Deap; and her siblings, Michael (Vera), John (Greta), Simon (Lillian), Hubert Hogan, Lawrence, Aloysius, Betty Wood (Holly) and Mary Burns (Stan).

She is survived by: her parent Margaret Hogan (Murray); her children, Barb, Dan, Barbara Ann Gilliss (Rich) and Daniel Phillip Deap (Karen Caverhill) of Fredericton; her grandchildren, Chris Gilliss of Toronto, Jeff Gilliss (Sarah Jane), Jason Gilliss (Amber), Phillip Deap (Nicole Plante), David Deap, Alanna Palmer, Brittany Gilliss, Jacob Gilliss, Samuel Gilliss, Nathan Gilliss and Alex Gilliss; and her sister Beatrice Campbell of Summerside. She is also survived by several brothers–in–law, sisters–in–law, nieces and nephews.

In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to the Heart and Stroke or to a charity of the donor's choice.
