He was predeceased by: his parents, Lorne Hanson and Mae Hanson (Brewer); and his siblings, Glenwood, Oscar, Lorence, Orville and Colin.
He is survived by: his wife Karen Ann Hanson (Parsons) of Fredericton, NB; his children, Alberta, Gerald, Jeff (Alicia) and Vincent; his grandchildren, Reggie, Heidi, Robin and Emily; and his siblings, Madeline and Carroll. He is also survived by several nieces and nephews.
