We announce the death of Marion Eileen Mitchell of Fredericton, New Brunswick, who passed away on October 11, 2026, at the age of 79. Marion will be remembered by family members, friends, and others whose lives were connected in meaningful ways. She was predeceased by: her parents, Edwin Henry and Elsie Henry (Coffee); and her siblings, Floyd Henry, Ted Henry and Freda Grant.
She is survived by: her children, Mike Mitchell of Galena Bay, BC, Julie Frontin of Fredericton, NB and Jeff Mitchell of Revelstoke, BC; her grandchildren, Jaida Frontin of Fredericton, NB, Addison Frontin of Fredericton, NB and Sage Reimer-Mitchell of Revelstoke, BC; and her siblings, Faye Hossack and Shirley Clark. She is also survived by several nieces and nephews.
A celebration of life will be held on Tuesday, October 13th 2026 from 3:00 PM to 6:00 PM at the York Funeral Home (302 Brookside Dr, Fredericton, NB E3A5K2).
In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to the New Brunswick Arthritis Society.
