It is with deep sorrow that we announce the death of Martina Steele (Fredericton, New Brunswick), who passed away on August 8, 2018, leaving to mourn family and friends. You can send your sympathy in the guestbook provided and share it with the family.

She was predeceased by: her husband Ralph Steele; her parents, Anthony Daamen and Henrica Daamen; her siblings, Ricky (Henrica), Theodore (Theo) and Netta; her brothers-in-law, John Bosse, Tony Van Doren, Alvin Brown and Harry Arts; and her nephews, Harry Van Doren and Hank Daamen.

She is survived by: her daughter Catherine Steele; her significant other James Shannon; and her siblings, Theresa, Cornelius (Koos), Martin, Henry, Joe, Annie, Corrie, Gerrit, Christina and Fredericton. She is also survived by many nieces, nephews, cousins and friends.

My mother's heart was broken when my father passed away in 2014 after his battle with Alzheimer's disease.
