With heavy hearts, we announce the death of Mary Young (Fredericton, New Brunswick), who passed away on July 31, 2025 at the age of 102. Leave a sympathy message to the family on the memorial page of Mary Young to pay them a last tribute.
She was predeceased by: her parents, Arthur W. and Alice J. Harrison (Sharp); her brothers, John and Peter Harrison; Murray.
She is survived by: her husband D. Murray Young; her children, Christopher Young (Pamela), Graham Young (Vicki) and Carolyn Young (John Thistle); and her granddaughters, Gillian, Rachael Young, Erica, Juliana Young (Dylan Bodner) and Fiona Thistle. She is also survived by many nieces and nephews.
For those who wish and in lieu of flowers, donations in Mary's memory may be made to the "Dr. C. Mary Young Scholarship in Biology" at the University of New Brunswick, or to the Nature Trust of New Brunswick.
