She was predeceased by: her siblings, Stuart Allen, Dorothy Steeves, Royden Allen, Carol Butler, Kay Allen, Jocelyn Alden and Marilyn Allen.

She is survived by: her parents, Wilfred Allen of Fredericton and Grace Allen of Fredericton; her husband Frank Albert Ryder of Fredericton; her children, Susan Ryder of Fredericton, John Ryder (Pam) of Greater Toronto and Nancy Ryder of Montreal; her grandchildren, Paul Vidal, Melanie Hanam (John), Steven Ryder (Emily) and Daniela Ryder; her great grandchildren, Tyona Bear, Brooklyn Hanam, Joey Vidal, Ellieah Hanam and Ben Vidal; and her siblings, Murph Allen (Marg) of Fredericton, Joyce Hunter of Bedford, NS, Brooks Alden of Vancouver, BC, Fraser Steeves of Fredericton and Brian Butler of Kingston. She is also survived by many nieces and nephews.
