She is survived by: her parent Lida Southard (Smith); her children, Donald (Margie) of Cape Breton, Andrew (Barbara) of Ontario, Grant of South Carolina, Douglas of Ontario and Lida Godin (Marc) of Nash Creek; and her sisters, Louella and Hellen.
In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to the Alzheimer's society or to a charity of the donor's choice.
