He was predeceased by: his parents, Firmin Maillet and Elise Maillet (Cormier); his daughter Janice Lonabaugh of Avon; his siblings, Martin, Leondre, Tilmon, Alcide, Ivan, Madeleine Maillet, Rita Richard and Lea Cormier; and also William Lonabaugh.

He is survived by: his wife Ida; and his children, Claude Maillet (Karen), Ronald Maillet (Christina) and Francine (John Ahrens). He is also survived by six grandchildren and 10 great-grandchildren.
