He was predeceased by: his parents, Stuart Peterson and Gertrude Peterson (Watson); his siblings, Gail Peterson and James Peterson; his sister-in-law Sharon Peterson (Hamill); his son Christopher Todd Peterson; and his wife Joan Peterson (Banks).
He is survived by: his brother Stuart Peterson (Muriel); his children, Patricia Peterson, Angela Lauffer (Peterson) and Brett Peterson (Jan); his grandchildren, Janssen Kirby (JP), Brandon Kirby, Chelsea Kirby (Darcy Hanson), Kathryn (Kirby), Julien Lauffer (Danielle), Noah Lauffer (Ashley Young), Simon Peterson, Lea Peterson and Elliot Buckley; and his great grandchildren, Ezra Woodworth, Arthur Slota, Joan Slota, Winnie Lauffer, Jayden Buckley, Lilah and Fradsham.
A memorial service was held on Friday, January 9th 2026 at 11:00 AM at the Crosspoint Church (4 Coronation Ct, Fredericton, NB E3A4K4).
Following Pat's diagnosis with Parkinson's Disease, he continued to live independently for as long as he could, then received the best of care at Shannex Parkland.
