He was predeceased by: his parents, Herbert Henry and Frances Louise Howell (Hood); his wife Carol "Joy" Howell (Lewis); and his brother Keith Howell. He is survived by: his children, Timothy Howell (Stacey) and Laura Richardson (Seth); his grandchildren, Everly Howell, Avery Richardson and Quincy Howell; his siblings, Beth Grass, Wendy Hood, Lorna Donahue (Leon), Charles Howell (Susan), Donna Newton (Russ) and Robert Howell (Elaine); his mother-in-law Ferne Lewis; his siblings-in-law, Jane Howell and Roger Lewis; his father-in-law James "Jim" Lewis; and his brothers-in-law, Larry Grass and Alton Hood.
In lieu of flowers, donations in Paul's memory may be made to Prison Christian Ministries, or a charity of the donor's choice.
