He was predeceased by: his parent Clarence Hunter; his siblings, Helen Bruce (Lloyd) and Blaine Hunter; and his siblings-in-law, Ida Hunter and Everett Doak.
He is survived by: his parent Susan Hunter (Boies); his siblings, Doris Doak, Elizabeth Spencer (Dell), Garth Hunter (Bernice), Bert Hunter and Stan Hunter (Joy); and his sister-in-law Wendy Hunter. He is also survived by several nieces and nephews.
