Peter DeMerchant Obituary
We are sad to announce that on September 18, 2025, Peter DeMerchant (Fredericton, New Brunswick) passed away. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
As we bid farewell to this cherished soul, solace is taken in the memories held dear — the laughter shared, the wisdom imparted, the moments of quiet reflection in their presence. Though Peter may no longer walk among us, his spirit lives on in the echoes of his kindness, the warmth of his embrace, and the light of his enduring love.
He was predeceased by: his parents, Donald DeMerchant and Elizabeth DeMerchant. He is survived by: his wife Sandra DeMerchant; and his brothers, William (Betsy) and Paul (June). He is also survived by his two daughters; two grandchildren.
A celebration of life was held on Sunday, September 28th 2025 from 2:00 PM to 4:00 PM at the Nashwaaksis Lions Club (37 Rte 148, Fredericton, NB E3G9G2).
