She was predeceased by: her grandparents, Ernestine, Mark Brooks, Ida and Emery Petitpas. She is survived by: her parents, Douglas William and Stella Yvette (Brooks); her husband George Kenneth McCoy; her son Jax McCoy; and her siblings, Tammy McFadden (Lawrence), Mark McFadden (Dareth), Nicholas Brooks (Tanya), Jason Brooks (Karey) and Christopher Brooks. She is also survived by five nieces & nine, nephews, several aunts &, uncles.
Visitation will be held on Wednesday, December 10th 2025 from 11:00 AM to 2:00 PM at the Maqyiahtimok Center (247 Maliseet Drive, St. Mary's First Nation E3A2W1). A funeral service will be held on Wednesday, December 10th 2025 at 2:00 PM at the same location.
