She was predeceased by: her parents, Arthur Cambers and Marjorie Cambers (Crandall); her husband Frederick Donald Hood; her children, Karen Hood and Donald Hood; her granddaughter Jordan Walker; and her sister Judy Cambers.

She is survived by: her children, Kim Walker (Kelly) and Larry Malloy; her grandchildren, Geoff Walker (Destiny), Megan Barton, Nicholas Barton and Mackenzie Walker; and her brothers, Fred Cambers (Florence), Brian Cambers (Jean) and Greg Cambers (Susan). She is also survived by several nieces' and nephews.
