He was predeceased by: his parents, Rena MacFarlane (Mae) and Harry MacFarlane; and his brothers, Ron and Charlie MacFarlane. He is survived by: his wife Charlotte (Boyle); his children, Jason (Reiko), Todd and Jill (Sean); his sister Doris Hawkes; and his siblings-in-law, Rowena MacFarlane and Ned Boyle.
