He was predeceased by: his parents, William Vaughan and Verna Vaughan (Rogers); his brothers, Kenny Vaughan and Rod Vaughan; and his nephew Nelson Vaughan.
He is survived by: his wife Dorothy Vaughan; his granddaughter Ella; his stepson David Dorton (Connie); his grandchildren, Will, Lilly and Zach of Lutz Florida; his sisters, Alexa "Pex" Legris (Joe) of Renfrew, ON and Kathleen Zwicker of Fredericton, NB; his siblings-in-law, Martina Vaughan of Kingston, NS, Ruth Vaughan (Gilles) of Moncton, NB, Jim Appleton (Heather) and Jeff Appleton (Shelley); his daughter Allyson; and also Barb Prince (Ken) of Fredericton, NB.. He is also survived by his many nieces, nephews and cousins.
