It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Rick Wightman of Fredericton, New Brunswick, who passed away on May 9, 2025, at the age of 62, leaving to mourn family and friends. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
He was predeceased by: his parents, Bob Wightman and Nancy Wightman (Clement). He is survived by: his wife Lori Wightman (Hay) of Fredericton; his children, Jerry, Jake and Dylan Wightman of Fredericton; his sister Wendy Connell (Gord) of Strathroy, ON; his brothers-in-law, Larry Hay (Bev) of Bedford, NS and David Hay (Tina) of Dartmouth, NS; his nieces and nephews, Sarah, William Connell, Geoff (Elainey), Ryan, Alli, Erin Hay and Carolyn Hall (Cody); his great-nieces, Camden, Cori and Casey; and his great-nephew Finley.
Visitation will be held on Thursday, May 15th 2025 from 2:00 PM to 4:00 PM and from 6:00 PM to 8:00 PM at the McAdam's Funeral Home (160 York St, Fredericton, NB E3B3N7). A funeral service will be held on Friday, May 16th 2025 at 2:00 PM at the Brunswick Street Baptist Church (161 York St, Fredericton, NB E3B3N8).
