He was predeceased by: his parents, Clyde MacLaggan and Leona MacLaggan (Somers); his son Lawrence; his daughter-in-law Althea; and his friend Carol Dykeman.
He is survived by: his significant other Margaret Morden; his daughters, Catherine MacLaggan (John Lavigne) of Fredericton, Mary Jane Bessey (Peter Bessey) of Greenfield, NS and Linda MacLaggan (Wayne Gillis) of Greenfield, NS.; his grandchildren, Angella Price, Joel MacLaggan, Sarah Hamilton, Christopher Bessey, Alexander Bessey and Bradley Gillis; his friend Donna Clark; and his caregiver Marg. He is also survived by 8 great-grandchildren.
